M4PNews|Chandigarh

There are misguiding apprehensions amongst HCWs of GMSH 16 and Health Department that DHS Dr. Amandeep Kang and other doctors sitting at top designations are certainly NOT ready to get themselves inoculated with COVID vaccine at first. Media4pillar has spoken to more than 60 HCWs in person when they showed their distrust while having themselves up for vaccination drive that is starting on this 16 January.

On the condition of anonymity, one of the Senior Doctor of GMSH 16 says that DHS herself is not keen to have a vaccine for COVID. She herself doubts the vaccine’s efficacy. “There is no second doubt, she has working day and night tirelessly to make arrangements for the D-Day, says another Senior Doctor from GMSH 16 Hospital”.

At one point, where UT Administration is striving hard for this day’s preparations and meetings, on the other hand, there are health care workers, who are looking upto their top designated doctors to get themselves vaccinated first.

While talking to Radio-technologists, Public Health, and NHM HCWs, they say that if our DHS, Medical Superintendent, and Deputy Medical Superintendent take vaccination and show the photographs to the public, then there would be no apprehensions left. one of the Staff nurse says, “Making arrangement for the COVID VACCINE Day or Dry Day is different than actually inoculated it on oneself, ofcourse, we look upto our team leader”.

While calling these apprehensions merely foul air, Medical Superintendent Dr. V.K. Nagpal of GMSH 16 says, “We do not believe in any such apprehensions. There is no doubt that everyone of us, would take vaccination for COVID. Otherwise, for what are we working day and night”.
