The Integrated Multi‑Modal Logistics Hub (IMLH) in Mahendragarh district will be inaugurated on August 23, marking a major milestone in Haryana’s infrastructure development. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is scheduled to flag off a new railway line connecting the hub with the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.
A goods train from New Dabla Railway Station in Rajasthan will arrive at the hub, which is being developed across Talot, Ghatasher and Basirpur villages in the Nangal Chaudhary subdivision.
Deputy Commissioner Anupama Anjali, Superintendent of Police Deepak, SDM Anirudh Yadav, and other officials inspected the site this week to review preparations. The DC confirmed that the project spans 1,305 acres, with 408 acres developed in the first phase.
Modern station buildings have been constructed on both sides of the tracks, and four rail lines have been laid to ensure smooth freight operations. A 2‑km‑long platform has also been built to handle loading, unloading, and movement of heavy trains.
“The IMLH, developed in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade and the Government of Haryana, has the potential to transform the economic landscape of the region,” said DC Anjali. She added that the hub will boost large industries and generate thousands of jobs for local youth.
Officials have been directed to ensure adequate security, traffic management, and technical arrangements ahead of the inaugural ceremony.
