The Haryana Government has rolled out a new online system allowing citizens to apply for and obtain digitally certified copies of jamabandi, mutation, fard badar and registered sale deeds without visiting revenue offices. Officials described the initiative as a major citizen‑centric reform designed to make land services faster, transparent and paperless.
Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Sumita Misra, announced that a new module has been operationalised on the Revenue Haryana Portal. Citizens can now access certified land records through a simple online process. Instructions have been issued to divisional and deputy commissioners for uniform implementation across the state, supported by a standard operating procedure for officials and a detailed user manual for applicants.
Explaining the process, Misra said applicants log in with their registered mobile number and OTP, select the required document, and enter district, tehsil and village details. Each application generates a unique tracking ID and is electronically forwarded to the concerned patwari or revenue official for verification. Once approved and the fee paid online, the certified document is automatically generated and available for download.
A uniform fee of ₹100 will apply for mutation, registered sale deeds and fard badar. For jamabandi, ₹100 will cover the first 10 pages, with an additional ₹5 per page thereafter.
The Financial Commissioner emphasised that the system will reduce repeated visits to tehsil offices, minimise delays, and strengthen transparency through an end‑to‑end digital workflow. Accountability will be ensured by maintaining a complete electronic trail of every application and approval, with responsibility for data accuracy resting on the patwari or revenue official concerned.
She added that the initiative is part of Haryana’s broader push to modernise revenue administration and deliver citizen‑friendly services through technology, making access to land records faster, more transparent and hassle‑free.
