Haryana Athletes Shine with Seven Golds in National Medal Tally

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has lauded the state’s sportspersons for their stellar performance, announcing that out of the country’s 13 gold medals, seven were clinched by athletes from Haryana. In total, the state’s players secured seven gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, bringing pride to the region.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to sports, Saini said Haryana has rolled out a new sports policy that provides athletes with government jobs, cash awards, and advanced facilities. He noted that indoor stadiums, synthetic tracks, and world-class academies are being established, while sports nurseries and playgrounds have been developed at the village level. Gymnasiums across the state further strengthen the infrastructure.

The Chief Minister also underscored initiatives for women empowerment, including special scholarships and free coaching facilities. “With the resolve of Khelenge Haryana, Jeetenge Haryana, the government is taking sports to new heights by offering world-class facilities, better coaching, and financial assistance,” he stated.
