Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), calling the ongoing political discourse an “ideological battle.”
Speaking at the Utkrisht Shiksha Puraskar ceremony organised by Haryana Progressive Schools’ Conference and Pooja Foundation, Saini said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ideology is focused on taking the nation forward. The other is the ideology of the Congress, which ruled for more than 55 years and remained focused only on the welfare of one family.”
The Chief Minister also criticised the Punjab government over alleged paper leaks and irregularities in recruitment, accusing AAP leaders of failing to act despite their claims of honesty. “They have nothing to do with the youngsters and only seek political advantage. Even those who protested at Jantar Mantar did not go to Punjab to raise students’ concerns,” he remarked.
During the event, Saini honoured more than 250 students from over 70 schools who excelled in Class 10, Class 12, and competitive examinations. He emphasised that providing equal opportunities in education, ensuring transparency, and recognising merit remain among the government’s top priorities.
