Representatives of various Sikh organisations meet Haryana CM Saini

A delegation of representatives of various Sikh organisations, led by Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Jagdish Singh Jhinda, met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday. During the meeting, the issue concerning Panjokhra Sahib was discussed in detail with the Chief Minister.

Speaking about the meeting, Jagdish Singh Jhinda said that the discussion with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was positive and successful. The Chief Minister assured all possible help and cooperation regarding the issue concerning Panjokhra Sahib.

He said that following the assurance given by the Chief Minister, the protest demonstration proposed for August 25 would no longer be held. He appealed to all Sikh organisations and the Sikh community to avoid rumours and work in the larger interest of the state while maintaining mutual brotherhood and harmony.

Jagdish Singh Jhinda said that positive discussions had taken place on the issue concerning Panjokhra Sahib and, following the assurance given by the Chief Minister, all sides should now move forward in a peaceful and positive manner. He also appealed to the Sikh community not to believe any unverified information.
