Haryana plans startup push in every district, eases approvals to boost entrepreneurship

In a major push to strengthen Haryana’s startup ecosystem, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to promote startups in every district of the state under the Vision 2047 roadmap. He emphasized the need to create a business friendly environment by removing administrative hurdles and simplifying approval processes to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship and employment generation.

Chairing a high level review meeting, the Chief Minister said startups should not remain confined to a few urban centres and that every district should emerge as a hub of innovation. He asked departments to identify district specific opportunities and extend all possible support to aspiring entrepreneurs, particularly youth and rural innovators.

Saini directed officials to streamline regulatory procedures and reduce unnecessary delays in obtaining approvals for new businesses. He said a transparent, efficient and investor friendly system would help entrepreneurs establish enterprises with greater ease while improving the state’s ease of doing business.

The Chief Minister said startups have the potential to transform Haryana’s economy by generating employment, promoting innovation and encouraging industrial growth. He stressed that entrepreneurship should become a key pillar of the state’s long term development strategy under Vision 2047.

Officials were instructed to strengthen institutional support for startups by improving coordination among departments and ensuring that entrepreneurs receive timely guidance and assistance. The government also plans to encourage innovation based enterprises in both urban and rural areas so that the benefits of economic growth reach every part of the state.

Haryana has already emerged as one of the leading startup destinations in the country, particularly in Gurugram, which hosts a large number of technology firms and unicorns. The latest initiative seeks to replicate that success across all districts by building a wider ecosystem for innovation and enterprise.

The startup expansion programme forms an important component of the Haryana government’s Vision 2047 strategy, which aims to accelerate economic growth, create employment opportunities and position the state as a major hub for innovation, industry and investment.
