Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday held a meeting with Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Rajneesh Kumar at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi. The discussions focused on strengthening Flipkart’s partnership with the state and leveraging technology to expand market access for farmers and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Key areas of deliberation included enhancing the agricultural value chain, promoting entrepreneurship, creating skilling and employment opportunities, and driving inclusive economic growth. The Chief Minister also explored avenues for deeper cooperation in horticulture and fresh produce sourcing, aiming to connect more farmers and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) from Haryana to wider markets through technology-enabled supply chains.
Flipkart reiterated its long-term commitment to Haryana, emphasizing its role in creating new opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs, and local businesses. Both sides expressed a shared vision of harnessing digital commerce and innovation to strengthen rural prosperity, promote entrepreneurship, and build sustainable livelihoods across the state.
