Sports Build Discipline, Confidence and Healthy Citizens: CM
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that sports are not merely a means of winning medals, but the most effective way to provide positive direction to youth and help them become disciplined, healthy, and confident citizens. Sports always offer players an opportunity to reach new heights.
The Chief Minister was addressing the trophy unveiling ceremony of the fourth edition of the Omaxe T-20 Chandigarh Premier League 2026 on Sunday. He congratulated and extended his best wishes to the UT Cricket Association, various franchise companies, and everyone associated with the successful organization of the tournament.
Nayab Singh Saini said that sports keep us physically fit and foster a positive outlook towards life. He extended his congratulations and best wishes to all the participating teams and their players for the future.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma, former Chandigarh BJP President Sanjay Tandon, Shyam Lal Bansal, Pawan Mutreja, Devendra Sharma, Ravikant Sharma, and H.S. Khurana, along with many distinguished guests and prominent personalities from the sports fraternity, were present.
