Punjab May have to face lockdown till 15 May 2020 as per current scenario. Though Pb Govt has already ready with Lockdown exit plan that been handed over to them by 20 member task force. In this plan lots many aspects including future education, online education, books delivery and printing, farmers and industrial problems, economic and Social pressures are detailed and suggested. Hence, the task force has suggested the Govt to declare the result of 10th class on the basis of Pre-Boards.
What exactly task force says on class 10 and 12th
Punjab School Education Board may be considered to allow the schools to declare the results of the 10th class students based on the pre board examinations. As it is understood that the evaluation of answer sheets for pre board examinations is done strictly and therefore the board may also allow to give some credit so that these students no longer get bored sitting in their houses. With the declaration of the results, the students will start preparing themselves for the next class and at the same time the schools will also be able to enroll students in the 11th class.
Declaration of result of 12th class: It is understood that almost 70% of the papers have already been completed. It is recommended that the 12th class students may wait for a while or in the alternative the Board may consider to hold examination of the remaining papers by creating more centres so that the social distance is maintained. Necessary permission may be given to the Board for this purpose.
Shops May allow to open
If lockdown gets extended then shops and industrial units may get permission to operate if they do not fall under the containment zone. Red Zone/Containment Zone would be under strict restrictions during the lockdown
