What need to be done in first phase?
While talking on this Sukhwinder Singh, Food Safety cell Head said that they are going to ask Zomato and swiggy to unload non licensed food joints from their apps first. There are more than 400 non licensed food joints list there on these apps. Then department will find out that how many joints are having food licence. Those who do not have food licence would not be allowed to use such platforms. After doing the licence part, customer would see licence on app too and they are going to regulate delivery part as well to make sure that food is safe.
In 2nd phase parameters, department and Fssai will see if the delivery boy is carrying cleaned bag, proper sealed food, way of carrying food and would check all possible norms to ensure the safe food delivery said Singh.
