In the last few days, city beautiful has heard much news regarding murder, extortion, etc and UT police believes it to be gangster Lawrence Bishnoi behind it. Hence, UT Police striving hard to crack the mystery.
This time, Bishnoi is believed to be behind in the firing incident at a hotelier’s house in Sector 33. UT Police is investigating the case.
Recently, Chandigarh Police brought Bishnoi on production warrant in the case of Sonu Shah murder at Burail. In this case, Bishnoi confessed to having planted the murder conspiracy from the jail. Shah, who was a property dealer and had a criminal background, shot dead at his office in Burail, Sector 45, in broad day-light as he was in a rival relationship with the Bishnoi gang. He was shot with 10 bullets on September 28, 2018.
Owner of Boulevard, a club in Sector 26 had too received a whatsapp call from a person who inducted himself as a Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded protection money. He got the call from Bishnoi and asked to pay money either monthly or annually.
In April 2018, an owner of a famous chemist shop in Sector 11 had too received an extortion call. The caller inducted himself as Sampat Nehra, a known member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He demanded a ransom of Rs 3 Crore.
