150 labourers went missing

Avalanche at Uttarakhand’s Chamoli burst the Dhauliganga River Dam made everyone feel Scared. A glacier broke off in Joshimath on Sunday morning and caused a massive flood in the Dhauliganga River. This endangered the lives of thousands of people residing near the banks of the river. It is expected that around 150 labourers who were working at Rishi Ganga Power Project went missing as per the Official statement of State Disaster Response Force DIG Ridhim Aggarwal.
Several district including Pauri, Tehri, Tapovan, Raini village, Rudraprayag, Haridwar and Dehradun, are likely to be affected and have been put on high alert. so far 6 dead bodies have been found in operation carried by ITBP.

Trivendra Singh Rawat Uttarakhand Chief Minister appealed to people to not spread rumors through old flood videos. He said all districts concerned have been alerted and people have been asked not to go near the Ganga. ITBP and NDRF teams too have rushed to flood-hit areas in Uttarakhand to take rescue works on peak priority, officials in New Delhi said.
